Skydive for Make a Wish Foundation
A group of four friends from their local fitness Bootcamp joined forces to jump out of a plane in aid of Make a Wish Foundation raising over £2000 for this fantastic charity who grant magical wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions.
Allan Barnard, Personal Trainer and Owner of Barnard Fitness, Nigel Reece from Marketing Agency, Cognique, Dawn Stubbs, Practice Manager from The Stables Equine Practice and Nicki Kent from Solicitors, Harris & Harris took the plunge and headed to Skydive UK Ltd at the Dunkeswell Airfield near Honiton.
The brave group of four, were overwhelmed by the experience all commenting that it was one of the best moments of their lives. Allan commented “the skydive was amazing, having an adrenaline full afternoon, raising money for a great charity and spending it with good friends, what more could you ask for!”
The enthusiasm continued for both Nigel and Nicki who commented that is one of the most incredible achievements of their lives “a huge tick on the bucket list.” The guys at Skydive UK were so professional and made everyone feel so at ease, so it was an incredibly enjoyable experience.
“It was exhilarating and amazing” commented Dawn, “definitely a fantastic way to raise funds for a special charity and an experience with great friends, a fantastic afternoon.”
